Types of plugs

There are different types of plugs for charging electric cars. Here are the most common :

This is obviously the most common plug, in terms of charging installations at home or public charging infrastructures.

Validated as a European standard, the Type 2 plug is now available on most standard vehicles in addition to and / or optional domestic plug.

While the type 2 plug has been validated as a European standard, the type 3 plug is almost no longer used.

For the CHADEMO socket, the cable is always attached to the terminal side.

As with the CHADEMO jack, the Combo cable is always attached to the terminal sid.
FYI – Combo has been validated as a European standard.
